History

While it's a bit cheeky to associate ourselves with one-design fleets of great history and tradition like the Water Wags, it remains a fact that Dun Laoghaire is one of the most important centers in the history of dinghy racing and it's nice to be a part of that.

Dinghy racing in and near the harbour includes everything from the oldest one-design dinghy class in the world - the aforementioned Water Wags - to possibly the most modern and radical....the International Moth.

These videos give a flavour of dinghy sailing in Dun Laoghaire over the years. Just a small flavour, but tasty nonetheless.
